  • Peace of Mind is our concierge service that helps track and adjust your Metrolane travel based on your complete journey from end to end.  Our service supports and protects your connections and all you have to worry about is just showing up.

    You can think of us as your “eyes in the sky” to help reassure you in case things don’t go according to plan.

    As a Metrolane guest, this service is FREE and included in the price of your ticket.  However, in order for Metrolane to properly assist you and deploy this service to its full potential, we do require you to opt-in and register for the service

  • It’s FREE – really it is.

    The Peace of Mind support program is included with every Metrolane reservation.

    However, you must opt-in and fully complete the application form to be registered for the service.

  • Simply put, to obtain your permission to access and utilize parts of your travel data to assist you.  We request certain details about your travel plans which are crucial to our support team and infrastructure.  We cannot accurately assist you without the collection, storage and usage of this information.  This additional step ensures you understand, accept and permit Metrolane to access this information to help you.

  • At Metrolane, our team is comprised of professionals working in the travel and transportation industry for many years.  Through our extensive experience, we know exactly what information is necessary for us to provide you with the guidance and support you require while you travel.  We also understand that even the best plans break down at times.  This information, while lengthy in process to submit, collect and analyze, help us cover our bases and understand how best to contact and assist you if needed.

  • You may be wondering how does this work in practice.  Here are three examples:

    LATE INBOUND CONNECTION - If your incoming train, bus or flight is delayed and there’s a possibility you may miss your Metrolane trip, we will alert you, provide alternative options and if needed, move your reservation to the next available service

     

    LATE METROLANE TRIP - If your Metrolane trip is expected to be delayed due to known weather, traffic or street closure conditions that may compromise your onward travel, we will alert you and provide alternative options, up to and including moving your reservation up to a previous trip, offering potential options if you miss your trip and moving your destination to a closer location to your alternate travel option

     

    YOU MISS YOUR METROLANE TRIP Finally, if you miss your Metrolane trip (not due to connecting travel), we will offer you alternative travel options.  In most cases, our team would help you by using your existing fare as a credit towards another service.

  • We certainly could.  But truthfully, we don’t want to. 

     

    Metrolane employs a service-first mentality to offering, managing and fulfilling requests for transportation.  Our goal is to become your #1 choice in ground travel.  While we may not be the cheapest fare in the market, rest assured that we go the extra mile to provide an unmatched level of support and guidance during your journey. 

  • Metrolane strictly follows the policies set forth in our Privacy Policy

    Metrolane constantly seeks for ways to improve both our process and product offerings to provide the best possible travel experience for you, our guest.  The information you share, in accordance with our corporate Privacy Policy, may be used, but not limited to the following purposes:

    o   To derive aggregate, non-personal travel trends of Metrolane guests for research and planning purposes

    o   To tailor future product and service offerings to aggregate, non personal groups of guests

    o   To improve internal and external processes for customer service and operations delivery within our company and partner network

  • ·       While the Peace of Mind program does offer numerous benefits for Metrolane guests, particularly for those including Metrolane as part of a longer journey, you have the ability to opt-out of the program.  Simply click “No” to the first question provided on your intake survey and you’ll not be included in the support service for your trip.

  • ·       No connection support for inbound or outbound transfers to/from Metrolane

    ·       No service support in case you miss your scheduled trip (full terms are enforced)

    ·       Limited assistance from Metrolane in case of trip delays or changes (beyond issues specifically affecting your reserved trip)

     

    In addition, there is no credit or refund issued for not participating in the program.
